Easter Egg Card

This Easter Egg Card is all you need to surprise and wish your loved ones a happy Easter. One of the easiest handmade Easter card ideas that can be made by kids and grownups alike. All you need to make this cute craft is coloured craft paper in pastel shades or any color combination you like and few stationery items like markers, glue etc.

Materials Required:

1. Coloured Craft Paper
2. A Pair of Scissors
3. Glue
4. Pencil
5. Black Marker
6. White Card paper

Instructions:

1. Using a cutout of an oval trace the shape onto a blue craft paper as shown or you can draw the egg shape directly too.
2. Now cut out the egg-shaped colour paper.
3. Take three small pieces of different coloured papers and draw chevron patterns on them
4. Now cut out these strips of paper too.
5. Draw a border on the blue oval and chevron paper strips cut out before.
6. Stick the paper strips on the blue oval to decorate the Easter egg and cut off the excess.
7. Apply glue on the border of another white oval/ egg shaped cut out and stick the blue egg on it.
8. Now cut through the middle of the egg to make two pockets.
9. Take a rectangular piece of card paper and glue it on the inside of the top part of the egg as shown.
10. Using a marker pen write down your Easter card message on the card paper.
11. At last, put the two pieces of the Easter egg together by inserting the protruding part of the card paper in the bottom pocket of the egg.
