DIY Pyramid Gift Box

Easy pyramid gift box DIY tutorial for making Christmas gifting even more special. You can make this beautiful pyramid gift box without the use of any gift box template by following the step by step instructions given below. All you need to do is swap the Christmas gift wrapping paper with any wrapping paper of your choice and just follow the same steps.

Materials Required:

• Chart Paper
• Gift Wrapping Paper
• Ribbon
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Punch
• Protractor
• Embossing / Scoring Tool
• Glue

Instructions:

1. Take a square piece of chart paper 21 cm X 21 cm.
2. Mark the mid points on all the edges to form a cross.
3. From centre point mark 3 cm on all the lines.
4. Join these points to make a square of side 6 cm.
5. Now mark 7 cm on the lines from the edges of inner square.
6. Join the points from the square to form four conjoined triangles.
7. Using the protractor make arcs on the remaining sides of the triangles.
8. Cut out the final shape of the pyramid gift box.
9. Score the edges to fold.
10. Paste the wrapping paper on one side of the cut out.
11. Trim the excess paper.
12. Fold the edges of the box.
13. Punch holes on all four sides.
14. Insert ribbon and tie together to complete the pyramid gift box.
