3 Easy Christmas gift box ideas that you can easily make at home.  These handmade gift boxes are made in the Santa Claus theme specially for Christmas gifts and can be made using simple craft supplies like paper and glitter foam sheets. Square Gift Box

• Take an A4 size red colour cardstock / thick paper and make a square box of 7cm sides and height.
• For the lid, take a white colour sheet of cardstock and make a square lid of sides 7.1cm and height 2cm.
• Cut the edges of the lid in a wave pattern to give a unique look.
• Similarly, paste a wavy, white strip of paper towards the bottom of the red box.
• Now cut out a strip of black glitter foam sheet of about 1.5cm width and paste it around the red box in the middle.
• Also cut out a small buckle from golden glitter foam sheet and paste it at the centre of the black strip.
• A super simple and cute Christmas gift box is ready!

Pyramid Gift Box

• To make this beautiful Santa Claus Themed pyramid gift box we have to first cut out the templates – a triangle of base 8cm and height 10 cm, a square of 8cm side each and a paper strip of width 2cm.
• Once the 3 templates are ready, take an A4 size cardstock in red and trace the triangle on one side.
• Go on to trace another triangle beside the previous one, having a common side and common tip on the top.  
• Similarly, trace a total of 4 triangles having a common tip on top and each triangle sharing one side.
• Now take the square template and trace it at the bottom of the 3^rd triangle. Make sure that the base of that triangle and one side of the square coincides.
• Then take the strip template and trace a small buckle at the bottom of the square.
• Also trace the strip template at the base of remaining 3 triangles.
• Now make a line parallel to the side of the first triangle, about 1cm away as margin, to be able to stick the other end of the Christmas gift box.
• Cut out the pyramid box template you just drew on the cardstock.
• Crease the edges of all the shapes and fold to get a pyramid shape.
• Apply glue to the 1cm margin left on 1^st triangle and stick to the other end.
• The square shape will form the bottom of the pyramid gift box. So once you fold, cut out a small slit to put in the buckle on the opposite side.
• Finally, draw and cut out the face, beard and cap for Santa Claus and stick it on the pyramid Christmas gift box.
• Don’t forget to stick the black belt and golden buckle made out of glitter foam sheets at the bottom of this cute gift box.

Triangle Gift Box

• To make the third Christmas gift box, or the triangle box we need to make two more templates – a triangle of base 8cm and height 12cm and a paper strip of width 3cm
• Take a red color cardstock and trace the triangle.
• Using the 3 cm paper strip, trace parallel lines on each side of the triangle to make the sides of the gift box.
• Leaving a margin of about 1 cm on each side wall, cut out this triangle gift box template you just drew.
• Crease all the lines and fold.
• Apply glue on the margins and stick to get a triangle shaped paper box.
• Follow the same steps to make the lid of the Christmas gift box. Just make sure to make the triangle a bit bigger and the sides 2 cm instead of 3cm so that the lid fits the box easily.
• Once the lid is done, cut out a strip of white paper about 2 cm wide and stick it towards the bottom of the triangular lid.
• Use green color craft paper to draw and cut out holly leaves and then stick it on the white strip
• Finally, stick a few red beads in the center of the leaves to complete the Christmas holly and a beautiful Christmas gift box is ready.
